Viewing Feed Performance and Statistics


To view the feed stats, do the following:

Click on "Track" next to the desired feed title in your "FeedManager Home". This will take you to the feed statistics page where you can find various data to analyse your feed performance. You can access these data by clicking on each menu item on your left. See below for an explanation to each of them:

Daily Stats:

This will show you the number of subscribers your feed has had in the past few days on a daily basis. By default the display for last 7 days is chosen but you can view upto last 30 days of data by selecting the days from the options given on the top right corner in a pull down menu.

Also, the default display type is "Chart". If you wish to view data in a tabular format, click on the link "Details" and vice versa.

Note: The "Chart" view only displays the subscribers per day where as the "Details" view displays additional information such as click throughs and hits your RSS feed has received.


Monthly Stats:

This shows you the average number of subscribers your RSS feed has had on a monthly basis. By default it shows you the data from the current year but you can also view the data from the previous years by selecting the year from the drop down box on the top right corner.

Also, the default display type is "Chart". If you wish to view data in a tabular format, click on the link "Details" and vice versa.

Note: The "Chart" view only displays the average number of subscribers per month where as the "Details" view displays additional information such as total click throughs and total hits your RSS feed has received in the given months.


Geo Stats:

This allows you to see where your RSS feed subscribers come from and the number of subscribers from each country your feed has had in the last few days. The display is for the last 7 days by default, but you can view the data for upto the last 30 days by selecting the days from the options given on the top right corner in a pull down menu.


User Agent Stats:

This shows you the details of the various user agents (Browsers, Bots and Aggregators) used to access your RSS feed. These user agents are classified into foug groups – *Desktop Aggregators*, *Web Aggregators*, *Browsers* and *Bots*.

The table on this page gives you the details such as number of subscribers using each of the aggregators and also the hits received from each of these aggregators. In addition to this, this table also shows you the number of hits your RSS feed has received from each of the browsers and bots.

By default, this table gives you an overview of the sum of your RSS feed subscribers using the Desktop Aggregators and Web Aggregators in the "Subscribers" column and the sum of hits received from each of the classified user agent category in the "Hits" column. To view the details such as the number of subscribers and the hits received from each of the user agent, click on the + icon.

Also, the default number of days the data is displayed for is the last 7 days. You can see the data for more number of days by selecting the options given in the pull down menu on the top right corner.


Item Stats:

Item stats gives you the details on the usage of your feed items such as the click throughs for each item and details on the item referers. Click on the link "Details" in the "Referer" column to view the list of referal urls for that item.
