Importing an External RSS or Atom Feed

To import an *External Feed*, do the following:

  • Click on the "Import Feed" tab in your Feed Manager.
  • On the next page, fill in the URL of the external feed you want to import, and optionally specify the the *Cache Time* in the respective form fields.
  • Click the "Import Feed" button.

Important: You will be given a new feed URL after you import your External Feed to your RapidFeeds account. It is necessary to use this new URL to distribute your feed so as to be able to use the RapidFeeds features with it. But if you want to use the original External Feed URL to distribute your feed, then you may use *HTTP redirection* to redirect your users to the new RapidFeeds' Feed URL.
